How to get to Cantarriján from Málaga

The naturist beach of Cantarriján is located within the Paraje Natural de Maro-Cerro Gordo and five minutes from La Herradura by the N-340.

If you go by car on the new highway, Cantarriján is located about 15 km from Nerja. Take the La Herradura exit and when you reach the first traffic circle, turn right following the signs to Malaga. After about 3 km you will see a sign for Cantarriján on the left.

You can park at the top. During the summer (June 15 through September 10), private vehicle access to this cove is restricted to protect the environment. You must leave your vehicle in the upper parking lot and take a shuttle bus, which costs about €3 round-trip. During the winter months, it is accessible by car.

If you go the old N-340 route from Nerja the road is a bit longer, but you will enjoy it as it is very as it is very scenic.
